On March 5th, I got some unsettling news. Ronny informed me and my squadmates that our trip to the Philippines was canceled due to international travelers not being let into the Philippines due to Covid. So then I had a decision on my hands because my chooses were to chose a new trip around the same time, defer to a later trip/time, or withdrawal completely. I prayed on this decision for a couple of days and knew that I still wanted to go on a mission trip this summer to spread the word of our Lord Jesus Christ. So then I started to look at the other trips that are being offered this summer. There was Nicaragua, Peru, and Colombia. Nicaragua and Peru were in July and Colombia were in June like my previous trip. So then I prayed on it and asked God what I should do. Then I really did not want to go in the middle of summer so I made the decision to go on the Colombia trip. Now I will be going to Colombia on my mission instead of the Philippines. I have asked God for guidance on what is to come and how/what this change is doing to me and to others. That is a little update on what is happening in summer. I will still be going on the same dates May 28, 2021 to June 29th, 2021. I have to raise 3,950 dollars and currently have 1,845 dollars raised.
